Bonsoir John-John.
This is by far my favourite choice of music for my film trailer. It is soft, catchy and beautiful sung. I especially like her tone of her voice and I believe that it fits perfectly with my trailer.
Here are the lyrics in English: (They are sung in French)
Since Dad was away
You're the boss at home
But a great leader must be wise
Bonsoir John John
As Dad used to say
It is more time to make war
It should store all your soldiers
Bonsoir John John
You're a man and you know

A man
It never cry
Look carefully around you
Many are sad
But do not cry
Bonsoir John John
Bonsoir John John

You're the boss at home
But a great leader must be wise
Bonsoir John John

In tribute to the President J.F. Kennedy, France dedicated this song to his son John-John.
Sur les quais du vieux Paris- Lucienne Delyle.
Although I do like this song I don't believe it fits in with my trailer. It's far too dated to be in a 60's like trailer. Here are the lyrics in English:
When you lean gently
Muttering: "It's Sunday,
If we went for a walk in the suburbs
Under blue skies and sunny days? "
Thousand projects attract us;
But even in a smile,
We repeat the trip simple and sweet
From our first visit ...
{Refrain:}
On the docks of old Paris
Along the Seine
Happiness smiles
On the docks of old Paris
Love walks
In searching for a nest.
Old bookseller
Beautiful Florist
Because we love you,
Living poem!
On the docks of old Paris
The bohemian love
It's paradise ...
All the old bridges we know,
Witnesses crazy promises,
That over water their echo will tell
Cheeky sparrows to gays ...
And in your arms m'enchaînent,
By listening to the sirens
I let fly, overcome with happiness,
My heart to your heart ...
Muttering: "It's Sunday,
If we went for a walk in the suburbs
Under blue skies and sunny days? "
Thousand projects attract us;
But even in a smile,
We repeat the trip simple and sweet
From our first visit ...

Non je ne regrette rien
This is once of my favourite songs, however I feel it is far too well known and would completely dominate the trailer. Here are the lyrics:
No! Absolutely nothing ...
No! I regret nothing
Neither the good done to me
Nor evil, to all that much to me Ugal!
No! Absolutely nothing ...
No! I regret nothing
I payu, balayÚ, oubliÚ
I do not care passu!
1 With my memories
I allumÚ fire
My sorrows, my pleasures
I no longer need them!
BalayÚs my love
And all their trÚmolos
BalayÚs forever
I'm leaving ... Ó zÚro
No! Absolutely nothing ...
No! I regret nothing
Neither the good done to me
Nor evil, to all that much to me Ugal!
No! Absolutely nothing ...
No! I regret nothing ...
Because my life, because my joys
Today? started with you!
No! I regret nothing
Neither the good done to me
Nor evil, to all that much to me Ugal!
No! Absolutely nothing ...
No! I regret nothing
I payu, balayÚ, oubliÚ
I do not care passu!
1 With my memories

I no longer need them!

Because my life, because my joys
Today? started with you!
